摘要:
工伤保险在我国社会中发挥着重要的"安全网"和"稳定器"的作用。在就业农民工中, 女性的工伤保险参保比例明显低于男性, 其中一个重要的影响因素在于女性农民工多集中于低收入、劳动密集且社会保障较低的职业与行业当中。通过运用Logistic回归模型, 对不同性别的农村流动人口参与工伤保险的影响因素进行"反事实"预测, 发现行业隔离与职业差异对农民工工伤保险的性别差异有显著影响, 是导致女性农民工的工伤保险参保率低于男性农民工的主要原因。
Abstract:
Injury insurance plays an important role as "safety net" and "stabilizer" in the society. The proportion of female injury insurance participation rate is significantly lower than that of men in the labor force market of migrant workers in China. An important factor is that women migrant workers are more concentrated in low-income, labor-intensive and lower social security occupations and industries. We estimate a logistic model to analyze the influence of gender differences in industries and occupations distribution on gender gap in participation rate of injury insurance. We conclude that the industrial agglomeration and occupational gender segregation are major sources of gender gap in injury insurance, which further exacerbates the female rural migrants’ living situation compared to male counterparts.
